What size am I?!?

Generally...your pre-preg size.

Just like pre-preg you may be a size XS in one item and a size M in another. This is why we are here with bricks stores, so you can TRY THINGS ON!! 

Can't get to a store?  We've got you. Consult with us before or just after you've placed you order so we can discuss sizes.

Got a question?  Ask us!  We've seen most styles onm hundreds (thoiusands?) pof bump and beyond bods!

Should I order a size up?

Generally no. You may need to bump up a size in some things... and sometimes we will recommend that you size down—just check the Fit section under each item.  We've seen these pieces on hundreds of women IRL and we use that data and those cloent's feedback to advise our online clients.

How far along will things take me?

Everything we curate in our collection, maternity and non-maternity is selected to take you very happily from mini bump to full  forty weeks to way beyond—forever in fact. So, sit back, relax and go shopping. Remember, you’re pregnant, you are supposed to be growing!

Is everything you carry maternity?

No! About 70% of our selection is NOT maternity (but all will work for your belly)! We go to great lengths to find the best pieces for your wardrobe: quality, fit and of course, style! When will my order ship?

 

Most orders placed Thursday-Sunday, when the shop is open, will ship same or next day.  Orders placed Mon-Wed will ship Thursday.

What are your SHIPPING OPTIONS? 

Things are still not back to pre 2020, but they are closer:).  We are grateful to all of our wonderful UPS drivers and their colleagues.  Shout out to Karloff and his family, who has been our trusted UPS driver in SF for years!

$9 UPS Flat Rate on Ground Shipping on orders under $250 within the Continental US

  • Typically delivered within 2-10 business days for orders placed Thursday-Friday by 12 pm PST
  • Delivery takes place Monday-Friday. (Not on weekends or holidays)
  • UPS Orders cannot be delivered to PO boxes

$9 USPS Flat Rate Shipping within the Continental US, Hawaii and Alaska

  • Typically delivered within 2-10 business days for orders placed Thursday-Friday by 12 pm PST
  • Delivery takes place Monday-Saturday. (Not on Sundays)
  • Orders placed on Saturday/Sunday or holidays will ship Monday or the day after the holiday

    FREE UPS Shipping on all orders over $250 within the continental US

    $50 UPS Flat Rate on Ground Shipping to Hawaii and Alaska

    • Typically delivered within 2-10 business days for orders placed Monday-Friday by 12pm PST
    • Delivery takes place Monday-Friday. (Not on weekends or holidays)
    • Orders cannot be delivered to PO boxes.
    • And, no, they don’t drive to Hawaii, we’re not sure why they call it “ground.”

    Do you offer expedited shipping?

    Yes. And. Due to the impact of the pandemic we are only shipping on Thursdays, Fridays and Mondays. See below.  If you live in California most orders will arrive within 2 days without expedited shipping. 

    Where is my order shipping from?

    We ship out of California. If you live in CA pretty please do not ship 2 Day Air as your parcel will never see the inside of a plane.

    How long will it take my order to arrive?

    Ground delivery generally takes from 2 to 10 business days depending on where you are: West Coast usually takes 2-4 days. Traveling east, it will take anywhere from 2-10 days depending on where you are and what shipping you select.

    Please keep in mind that UPS does not deliver on weekends, even for rushed shipping options, so if you place a “Next Day Air” order Thursday after business hours, or Friday, it may not arrive to you until Monday.

    Do you charge tax?

    Orders shipped within California will be charged sales tax. It’s the law. Outside of CA, we will not charge sales tax. Also, the law.

    Do you care about the environmental impact of shipping?

    Yes, we care very much about the earth that we are leaving to our children. UPS shipments are sent Carbon Neutral (costs us an extra 5 cents, which seems worth it to us, and we do not pass this on to you).

    Please do not expect your delivery to arrive in a perfect new box—we recycle and reuse. However, if you are ordering a gift to be shipped, the gift box will be pretty and perfect. :)

    Can I return my online order?

    Yes! You can. We wish we could say that we always get it right, and we are delighted to offer you 3 shops to take the time and space to try things on.... but, not everyone can get there and  online is harder, that’s just a fact.

    • Any items returned must be unworn, in its original and resalable condition; in its original packaging if packaged and with all tags attached. 
    • Send it back to us within 21 days of original receipt date for a full refund. If we receive your return after 21 days of original receipt date, a 25% restocking fee will be charged and deducted from your final credit.
    • If you received a discount based on a multiple item purchase, your refund may reflect that discount. If you received a free item as part of a multiple item purchases and are returning one item paid for in full and keeping the free or discounted item, your refund will reflect that as well.
    • Items on Clearance are Final Sale.  No returns,no exchanges, no exceptions.
    • Have a gift you wish to return? Just email us [email protected].  We can issue a Gift Card or refund the purchaser's credit card. 

    How do I return my order?

    COVID-19 Note:

    We strongly advise insuring your return as the shipping systems seem to be extra busy and we cannot process a refund on anything which we have not received and we cannot be responsible for UPS or USPS. We love and trust our local USPS and UPS folks-shout out to all of them, we miss you! (Particularly Daniel in SF who often walks in and says "What's the Word?" (pause) "Mom's the Word!")

    Can I return my online order at one of your stores?

    Absolutely! You can drop off your online order to one of our stores (check for Covid hours) and we will process your refund or you can pick up a different size or style..

    What happens when you receive my return?

    We strive to process your returns as quickly as we do your orders. Your card will be credited as soon as we receive and process the return. Some credit card companies take longer to process refunds than they do to process sales. If you do not see the credit after you have received an email from us stating that the return has been processed you can feel free to contact us, but, really, if you received an email notification of a refund we have done our part and you will have to call your bank or credit card company.

    Can I exchange my online purchase?

    If you would like the same item in a different size please return the size originally purchased and place an order for the size that you want. There is no way to "set aside" a size online while awaiting your return, and you get your new properly fitting piece sooner:)

    If you consulted with us via [email protected] or texted 415.441.8261 prior to placing the original order and we missed the mark contact the stylist who you consulted with.   

    What is your in-store exchange policy?

    • Items purchased in our shops-where you can try things on and discover what styles and sizes work on your new and changing silhouette-when in new condition with tags attached can be exchanged within 14 days for an item or items of equal or greater value, or exchanged for a Gift Card which can be used at our brick and mortar shops or online.
    • Gift Cards never expire.
    • All Sale items purchased in store (anything which you purchased for any sum less than the original price) are final sale-no exceptions.
    • Evening wear may be exchanged for size only.
    • Intimates are final sale.
